These terms apply when you use woodenearth.com or buy from us. The site is operated by Wooden Earth Ltd. By placing an order you agree to them, so please read them first.

Our products

Our pieces are made from natural wood and are largely handmade. Grain, colour and figure vary from one piece to the next, and dimensions may differ slightly from those listed. This variation is a feature of real wood, not a fault, and is not on its own grounds for a return. We photograph products as accurately as we can, but screens render colour differently — the item you receive may not look identical to the photograph.

Prices and availability

Prices are shown in the currency selected on the site and may change without notice. We try to keep stock accurate, but if an item becomes unavailable after you order we will tell you and refund you in full.

If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a technical or human error, we are not obliged to supply it at that price. We will contact you to confirm whether you would like to proceed at the correct price or receive a full refund.

Your order

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A confirmation email acknowledges that we have received your order; the contract is formed when we dispatch the goods. We may decline an order — for example where we cannot verify payment details, where stock has run out, or where we suspect fraud.

Delivery

We ship worldwide free of charge. Estimated delivery times are set out on our Shipping page. Those times are estimates, not guarantees, and do not include delays caused by customs or the carrier.

Depending on where you live, your order may attract import duty, VAT or a customs handling fee on arrival. These are set by your own country and are your responsibility as the importer. We declare the value of goods accurately on all customs paperwork, as we are legally required to do.

Returns

Returns and refunds are covered by our Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Using this website

You may not use the site to break the law, to interfere with its operation or security, to scrape or copy it systematically, or to post content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading or infringes someone else's rights. We may remove content and withdraw access where these terms are breached.

Intellectual property

The text, photography, graphics, logos and design of this site belong to Wooden Earth Ltd or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. You may not republish, sell or reproduce them commercially without our written permission.

Reviews and other content you submit

If you post a review, comment or photograph, you keep ownership of it but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use it in connection with the store. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share.

Links to other sites

Our articles sometimes link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which are unaffected by these terms.

Subject to that, the site and its content are provided as they are, we do not guarantee the site will be uninterrupted or error free, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in.

Changes

We may revise these terms. The version in force is the one published here at the time you place your order.
