Moxibustion originates in China. It is a type of traditional Chinese therapy using a dry leaf, known as 'mugwort' or 'moxa' which is burnt and placed on specific parts of your body. The concept behind this therapy is based on heat, which is the perfect way to stimulate circulation and the increase the flow of lymph throughout the body. Try also this for relaxing your muscles. More of these massager tools you will find in the wood massage tools.
Features of the Moxibustion Treatment Tool
-
Stimulates Flow
⇨ Moxibustion is linked to the 'Qi' we find in our bodies, it gets rid of damp and cold areas in our bodies, which hinders good circulation. When we have good circulation we can experience the relief of back pain as well as pain linked to those suffering from arthritis, and stomach cramps. Browse around our site for more wooden stuff. -
Easy to Use
⇨ the moxibustion treatment tool is simple to use. A small mound of moxa is placed on the abdomen, over a thin layer of salt, then the moxa is lit and slowly and evenly spreads the heat, providing the health benefits mentioned above. Combine your therapy with this one! -

Wooden product. Great quality. Better than expected.
J
Well finished, excellent construction. I haven't tested it yet, but the only way to avoid getting burned is with thick socks.
V
Excellent, just like the photo, perfect for moxibustion.
C
I tried to use it as shown in the photographs, but the heat does not reach the base of the hammerhead. I tried to separate a small ember and drop it, and it was less than lukewarm. It didn't work. I regret buying it.
K
Beautiful, I will buy again.
